Cornerstone Cottage
is a quaint Miner's Cottage in a pleasant Village close to the Town of Blaenau Ffestiniog,
on the border of Snowdonia in the County of Gwynedd in North Wales.

The stone Cottage backs onto the Moelwyns, and the Ffestiniog Steam Railway crosses through the top of the back steep-terraced garden,
and there is a pretty view from the front aspect of the house.

There is free on-road parking usually available outside the front of the house, or further parking available outside the children's park diagonally opposite.

The Cottage comprises a hallway leading to a lounge with sofa bed, dining table, chairs and bookshelf. This leads to a well-stocked kitchen with small cooker, and separate slow-cooker.

A back porch leads to the bins outside, and access to the front.

The steep terraced garden is not suitable for sitting in,

However, a folding table and garden chairs are provided for eating in the small front garden.

Alternatively, there are 3 picnic tables in the park virtually opposite the Cottage.

Upstairs, off the landing, there is the Main Bedroom, (called 'The Light Room', as it is flooded with light most of the day, and has an enlightening view).

The Light Room comprises a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Also, a long mirror, DAB Radio, and folding desk and chair.

The Back Bedroom, called 'The Railway Room' (as one can wave to the Steam Train from it) contains a trunk bed which may be set up as either twin beds or as a double bed. It also has a wardrobe and chest of drawers, and folding desk and chair set within.

Then there is a bathroom with bath, sink and WC (but no shower at present).

On the next floor up some steep stairs is a basic Loft Room with a bunk-bed, 2 high-up velux windows.

Please be aware that, although the Cottage CAN sleep 8, it much more comfortably sleeps 4,

Especially as there is only 1 Bathroom/WC.
